I'm sure that the photos will get more impressive as we get further into spring, but here are the most recent photos from the garden (unfortunately taken before some serious weeding took place).

Since these are all brand-new bulbs, it is a big surprise to see what's inside! So far, I've already identified some yellow daffodils in Elizabeth's "pink garden" so I assume there will be more interesting combinations of colors in the yard. The flowers are a bit sparse, but it is only February, and in a few years, I hope that this area will be blanketed in color during the Spring.

There is still so much work to be done in the yard! So many weeds! I do have more plants started indoors, though, and hope to clear places for them on the far hill in the back yard...hopefully within the next month.

The garden is starting to come alive with all the springtime bulbs. They are relatively small so far this year, but that's to be expected during their first couple seasons. Above are pictured some daffodils, an anemone, and one tulip. Below, Elizabeth and I enjoy the sunshine out in the garden.
Note: I think the groundhog was wrong this year, because we are having very early spring-like conditions here. 72 degrees was the high today with clear skies. My tomato and squash seeds are already sprouting!
