Our first Thanksgiving as hosts went off without any glitches (other than a small stuffing issue). Here are happy consumers of the first dinner.

On the menu this evening, we had appetizers, a main course, and dessert. Starters included a variety of cheeses (stinky and not-so-stinky), home made French bread, and fancy olives (stuffed with bleu cheese). For the main course, we had lemon-roasted turkey breast, mushroom stuffing, roasted root vegetables, sweet potato casserole, and cranberries. Dessert was comprised of a double pumpkin cheesecake.

For the most part, the dinner was a success. Not bad for a first attempt at preparing a Thanksgiving dinner. The actual preparation was not too strenuous, but the clean up afterward was a pretty large chore.
